  1. You must be 18 or over and live in the UK to play.
  2. You must purchase game entries to be able to play in our contests .Game entry packs are available on the 'packages' page on our website.
  3. A player will only be allowed to purchase up to £20 total of entries for any one competition.
  4. Each competition has a start and end date and time.  Games entries for the competition are only eligible to be played inside the start and end date / times.  Unused entries that are left unplayed after the end of the competition will be forfeited and are not refundable.

How To Play

Each game of trivia consists of the following rules

  1. Each game consists of a random pack of 5 questions selected from our database.
  2. Each question is displayed to the player.  In some cases,  a talkSPORT presenter or sports celebrity will read out the question for the player.  The player is given approximately 2 seconds to read the question.
  3. A selection of up to 4 possible answers is then displayed to the player and an additional 2 seconds is given for the player to read the possible answers before a count down timer starts.  The player must choose an answer before the timer runs out.
  4. The player chooses their answer by touching it on their phones,  or by clicking on it using their mouse on a computer,  depending what device the game is played upon.
  5. If the player answers questions correctly then they will receive tickets to our prize draws.  The number of tickets received will depend on how many questions in the pack the player gets correct.   1 ticket for 3 correct answers,  3 tickets for 4 correct answers and 5 tickets for 5 correct answers.
  6. Once the game timer starts,  the question is deemed to be "in play" by the current player and requires an answer in the given time period.  If any issue should arise for the player;  such as internet failure, power failure,  browser crash or any other reason that prevents an answer being selected,  the question shall be marked as unanswered with an incorrect answer recorded for that question and the question can not be replayed.
  7. The game continues until all 5 questions have been answered.
  8. The total amount of tickets won for that game will be displayed to the player at the end of the game.  A player can see how many tickets they have won at any time by accessing the competition page on the website after logging into their account.

Main Prize Draw

The main competition prizes are determined by a random drawing of winners from tickets that have been won by our players.

  1. A prize draw will take place within 5 days after the closing date of the competition. The winner will be selected at random from the database, with an unbiased computer algorithm.
  2. A prize draw will take place within 5 days after the closing date of the competition. The winner will be selected at random from the database, with an unbiased computer algorithm.
  3. The winner will be contacted by telephone call on the day of the prize draw. If there is no response, the winner will be notified by email and post, using the contact details supplied on their account. If the winner does not respond within 5 days of the draw, or is ineligible, the promoters shall be entitled to select another winning entry using the same independent process. The process will repeat until an eligible winner is able to claim the prize. Entrants are encouraged to monitor their connections during this time in case they are the winner.
  4. Main Draw Prizes will be paid by bank transfer.

Leaderboard, High Scores and Daily Prizes

Some competitions may also optionally offer daily prizes based on the daily high score leaderboard.

  1. When playing each pack of questions,  a player will score points based on the speed of their correct answers to questions.  The points are accumulated for all the questions in the pack.
  2. Each player's score is put onto a daily high score leaderboard.  The leaderboard has an ascending list of all the players and their scores who have played the competition that day.
  3. Each player will have 1 score posted on the high score tables.  If they enter a competition more than 1 time,  only their highest score for all the games they play will be on the high score table.
  4. At the end of each day,  and based on the current competition, an amount of top players from the top of the daily leaderboard will be awarded prizes.  For example;  the top 10 players will be given £10
  5. In the case of cash prizes being awarded,  the winners will be notified by telephone, text, email or post, using the contact details supplied on their account.  If the winner does not respond within 5 days, or is found to be ineligible, the prize shall be forfeited.  Cash prize draw prizes will be paid by bank transfer.
  6. In the case of being awarded "game credit",  the amount won will be automatically transferred to the player's account and will be valid for playing further games in the current competition.  The credit will not extend to future competitions and will be forfeited if not used when the competition ends.
